Hi there! How are you all? Sorry for my long absence, lately my life has gone through many changes that I am looking forward to sharing them with you!
My biggest news is that last month, I released an entrepreneurial project with my dear sister. Agapi-Mu, which is a 100% digital bridal brand, you can even order your bridal gown on Instagram!! Agapi-Mu means My Love in Greek, and we are delighted with the idea of being part of the day in which a couple celebrate their love!!
Since sustainability is such an important topic for me and my sister, we have worked in few areas in order to help the planet. Firstly, our bridal gowns avoid the use of mixed fibres in the fabrics. That way, all our products are 100% recyclable, of course, once the bride is ready to say goodbye to her big day dress! Also, we don’t want to create unnecessary waste, for this reason, we have created beautiful paper boxes in which the brides receive their orders. We wanted to create something beautiful that can be used for other purposes and in many occasions! The boxes, as well as the rest of the packaging, are made from paper, can be recycled and are biodegradable! Lastly, we have a paper-free policy when it comes to communication, and we send all the order confirmations, payments, etc. by email. You are probably wondering is there is any other way to go when it comes to online companies, well, even when we sell in a physical location, such as pop-up spaces, truck shows or events, we still send all the info via email, and we avoid including a physical copy of the online order in the parcel. There are still many things we can do to help our planet, and sustainability will always be part of our companies DNA, but we believe this is a great beginning. In order to focus in Agapi-Mu I will be living in my home town for a while. I am originally from Valladolid, Spain, as you probably know already! It has been hard to say goodbye to me beloved Mallorca… But I am sure I will move back there at some point.
