Vacances à Saint Tropez, mon amour!

The Summer is getting hotter and hotter in Atlanta, so it is time to bring out the shorts and for today’s post I have chosen an outfit that couldn’t be more quintessentially summer!

This outfit whisks me back to Saint Tropez in the 50’s, the golden age of Hollywood-sur-mer. The allure of the French riviera bought together the Hollywood elite and was a hotbed for fashion and jewelry and some of the riviera’s best parties. The mix of the American glamour with fine European craftsmanship made this place an iconic moment in fashion history. This era is consistently revisited by designers for inspiration! To complete the Saint Tropez look and infuse classic Mediterranean’s character, I added straw a made basket and espadrilles, both of them handmade in Spain.

I am a big fan of mono block outfits, they make you feel dressed up in an easy way. Here is a tip, when you wear monocolour outfits, your clothes look as if they a better quality than they actually are, so keep it in mind!

I got this outfit three years ago and apart from wearing it all together, I often mix and match the two piece with other garments to increase the usage and get a more subtle outfit.  Throughout the summer I will show you other ways in which I combine both pieces!
