Polka dots are par excellence the most Spanish print, and fortunately are on trend this season! Since my move back to Spain I feel like including part of my country iconography in my looks, and this print is a great way to go. I love how versatile polka dots are, you can either wear them in a very casual way, such as the outfit I am wearing today, or give them an upgrade for a smart look, as the one I was wearing last summer for a wedding, as you can see here! This season polka dots are everywhere, they have taken over the street style, as it was predicted during the SS18 catwalks.
I have few polka dots garments in my wardrobe, including a new pair of trousers I will show you soon, but this is probably my favourite one. My sister recovers them from my mother’s wardrobe and I have used them a lot since then. Actually, a few year ago I went on holidays to Sicily, it was a wonderful summer holiday with lots of friends. Unfortunately, all my luggage got stolen during the trip and the only outfit that survived were these trousers and a cotton t-shirt. After that experience, they became even more valuable for me!!
Are you also a polka dots lover? How do you combined them?
