Art and fashion go hand in hand. Art has been a fashion inspiration in innumerable occasions and some of the most iconic fashion pieces in history are clear examples of this close relationship. As the Mondrian dress by Yves Saint Laurent; the Warhol jumpsuit by Versace or the Byzantine virgins in the Dolce & Gabbana FW 2014. You can see these examples in the images below.
Bringing awareness into the environmental issues is the first step towards resolving them. It is essential and art is the best tool for achieving the goal in a beautiful and meaningful way. This was probably Anna Panic’s thought when she decided to star the “Conscious” project.
I met Carlos Blanco few weeks ago, and we immediately clicked! His passion for engineering and sustainability, as well as his broad knowledge on green energies make his conversation about sustainability interesting and pedagogical. It soon became clear that he was meant to be part of Style Indigo!
