Winter isn’t the most popular time for a wedding, but when a woman decides she wants a white Christmas wedding the glamour is guaranteed! That it’s been the case of Sara, of my best friends, who choose last weekend for her “yes, I do”.
Hollywood icon Bette Midler once said “Give a girl the right shoes and she will conquer the world” and she was probably right, but creating the right shoes can also help you conquer the world, Manolo Blahnik is the best sample of it!!
This is a very controversial post, I have been thinking about it for few months and some people told me not to do it, but finally, I decided to talk about this taboo subject. If you are of a delicate nature, maybe skip this one and come back for the next post.
I spend this weekend with my girlfriends and I was delighted to find out how interested they were about sustainability and how they are all implementing changes in their lives to reduce their carbon footprint. One of them ask me what was the one thing she could do to have a more sustainable wardrobe. At the beginning of the week I shared with you my experience on Machu Picchu, but that wasn’t all I did in Peru. Peru is a country with an extreme landscape, which includes the Andes mountains and the Amazon forest. This makes me think that the Peruvian people dress in such a colorful way to compensate for such hard living conditions. Whatever the reason might be, the colorful fabrics make walking through the local markets and shops candy for the eyes!
